Ammo Trick
If you pick up the regular shotgun at your hideout (from starfish island) and then go out and find the spas or benelli shotgun out in the city, your 50 shells from the regular shotgun will be transfered to the new upgraded gun you picked up. If you were to pick up the upgraded shotgun without doing this you would only receive 20 or so shells but this way you get roughly 70. This trick works with other guns also that share similar bullets.
Power up
This trick worked in GTA III as well. Drive up next to a hooker and wait. If you're driving a swank enough car, she'll start talking to you. Eventually, she'll get into the car. At this point, drive to a quiet spot and let the magic happen. The car will start rocking, and your health will grow from 100 to 125. Your pocketbook will take a hit though. This health-up only works until the next time you die.

Easter egg
Find the Easter egg
Leap off the corner of the VCTV building toward the nearest building to find a hidden room that contains a secret Easter egg.
Reduced Felony
If you want to kill cops without receiving a load of wanted stars, use the main blade of a helicopter and angle it so that the blade hits them. You accrue less wanted points this way.
Easy Money
Drive over parking meters to empty cash into the streets. It's free money!
Rob a Bank
After you've completed the Malibu mission The Job, you can rob El Banco Corrupto Grande for some easy money. Walk in and turn right up the stairs. This will earn you a four star wanted level. Walk into the manager's office to get 13 of the cash. The rest is in the room with the elevator, on the right side. Then jump off the balcony and run out. To shake the cops, you can turn left to the nearby Pay N' Spray. It's not much, but it's easy cash.
Village People
Go into the Malibu Club and take a gander at the stage. There, you'll find a reasonable facsimile.
Shoot at the moon
The moon changes size when shot it with the Sniper Rifle, just like in GTA 3.
Easy but Hard Cash
To make easy cash fast spawn a rhyno tank. Do a vigilante mission. Do it until you've killed 330 people and you'll have made over $700,000.
Complete one of the ace missions
On one of the ace missions you have to destroy things to put up the chaos meter. To complete this mission easily do weapon 3 cheat and get out your minigun. Blow up a car and keep firing at it with the mini gun.
Hint mansion trash
When you own the mansion you'll see it clean without trash but when you see trash and blow it up or shoot at it there will apear trash on some parts of the mansion.
Tank Boost
To make a tank go faster, turn the cannon to the back of it and shoot. This will make the tank go faster than 154 mph.

In the "Sir yes sir" mission, park a car ahead of the convoy where it will pass. When the convoy stops, shoot off the head of the gunner of the tank with a rifle, and the driver will get out before the troops start firing, then you can take the tank.

This is the best way to complete the "Sir Yes Sir" mission (this article is a little lenghty, but this cuts the time spent on the mission in half).
1. ?nce you get the mission, get in the sports car by Cortez's boat.
2. Take the most direct path to the other island (the big bridge by the hospital and Washington Mall).
3. The convoy will stop at the donut place, so you just need to go a little ways in front of them and park your car sideways in the road and type the cheat for thugs tools and choose the minigun the equivilent of the rocket launcher in this set of guns (there is a buliding with adequate shelter close to Cam's the safecraker's house).
4. An army officer will say something like "Civilian Vehicle in the way" and he will get out of the hummer and move your car. This is when you act - use the Mini-Gun to blow up the car and then hit the other cars. Don't worry about the tank - it won't blow up. Now switch to a smaller gun and walk towards the tank. Watch out for the gunner on the tank and there might be some army guys in the bushes.
5.Then get right in front of the tank, get out the sniper rifle and you should be able to see the men in the tank. Kill them, take the tank and hit a U-turn. Don't worry about the self destruct, you will be able to make it to the garage in time because you are extremely close.
